STATE-OF-THE-ART HIGH SCHOOL

Preparing students for the world of work while fulfilling the needs of the business community. The project won first place in the Associated General Contractors 2019 Build Georgia Awards.

The three-story Alliance Academy for Innovation of Cumming-Forsyth County provides secondary, post-secondary, and continuing educational opportunities. Its 1,200 students in grades 9-12 earn industry credentials and college credits through partnerships with the University of North Georgia and Lanier Technical College. The program spaces were designed for the career pathways, allowing students to work in simulated environments. The school is equipped with several unique features, including aviation simulators, plasma cutters, welding equipment, wind tunnels, a courtroom, and shared physical education and robotics event area. MSSA also designed a new 600-space, 186,412-square-foot parking deck for the Alliance Academy.
