STATE-OF-THE-ART STAGE PRODUCTION TECHNOLOGY
The design of the Henry County Performing Arts Center—Fairview is simple in program, but complex in technology. This freestanding PAC is located adjacent to Fairview Elementary School.
Spectators enter a gallery-style front lobby filled with natural light, then proceed into the 1,000-seat auditorium with an orchestra pit and a balcony. The auditorium was designed with radial geometry to maximize acoustics and sight lines for performances. MSSA has incorporated into this facility state-of-the-art stage production technology, including audiovisual, sound, lighting, and control systems. Highly engineered acoustics enhance the performance and viewing experience. Behind-the-scenes spaces include technical production support areas, a green lobby, dressing rooms, storage, and a flexible conference room with an operable wall divider. These areas will be used as a band warmup area, overflow dressing, and meeting spaces.
